Baby is officially 4 months old!
My appetite has really been working overtime this week! Trying to work on filling my bottomless pit with healthy foods, but I totally ate way too many oreos this week too! (will NOT be buying them again!)
Surprise of the week – my hubby couldn’t come to our last doctor’s appointment (which was supposed to just be a heartbeat check) because I had to reschedule the time due to an impending snowstorm. When I told the doctor that we were both bummed he couldn’t make it, she asked if I’d like a surprise ultrasound so I could take some pictures home for daddy! AND she had me record the whole ultrasound on my iPad so he could watch it too! I was so ecstatic
It was so hard to get a clear picture because baby Hibbs was doing jumping jacks in there! Seriously moving around like a fiend, and I loved every second of it!!
How far along? 16 weeks
Maternity clothes? My maternity jeans are officially in use – they’re still a little big, but are much more comfortable than my old jeans!
Sleep: Ugh sleep has barely been happening this week. Frustrating.
Best moment of the week: We got a surprise ultrasound! I love our doctor
Miss anything? I still miss my morning coffee! I also reallllly wanted a glass of wine with Valentine’s Day dinner…
Movement: OK so I’ve had some little “twitches” on and off this week…I’ve never felt anything like it before, so I’m assuming it’s the baby!! What a weird but exciting feeling!
Food cravings: Well my appetite has definitely arrived this week! Wow – I feel like I’m almost never satisfied during the day…but by the nighttime I can’t eat much more (maybe because I ate too much during the day? Haha!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I tried the “real” pre-natal vitamins again this week, and they ended up in the toilet. Back to the gummies!
Gender prediction: Boy? I keep calling it “he” and “him”. Everyone is looooving giving predictions though!
Labor signs: um, it would be a problem if I’d feel that this early!
Symptoms: At the end of every day, my back is pretty sore. My heating pad is a lifesaver!
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy! I have had a few cries this week, but nothing major.
Looking forward to: Feeling the baby move more!! I’m excited for kicks (even though I’m sure I’ll be regretting those words in a few weeks…)

I like reading your updates! I am so very excited for you. And don’t worry about the vitamins. With Caleb, I took children’s flintstones vitamins and with Lydia I did the pre-natal gummies! They were both healthy!

What fun! I love your updates! And I could never take those prenatals either. Makes my tummy hurt to think of them!
