As I mentioned last week, I’m having a lot of fun with Groupon this holiday season! After we gifted my parents with a wine delivery, we went to the other end of the spectrum and looked for a good idea for our 16 month old.
Isaac doesn’t really watch TV, but he does LOVE Elmo in the books that he reads. What is it about that silly red guy that makes kids go nuts? I’ll never understand! But when we saw that Groupon was offering tickets to Sesame Place (about a half hour away from us), we jumped at the chance to give these tickets as a Christmas present!
But of course, no kid wants to open tickets in an envelope. We decided to make a little Sesame Street themed basket to help him get even more excited about our trip:
I just went to Target with him and picked up some cute little Sesame Street themed toys and activity books. We’ll give them to him on Christmas, and then go to Sesame Place the week between Christmas and New Years. I can’t wait!!
I’ m all about giving experiences with gifts – which is why I love this Groupon gift idea. We’ll be able to make memories that will last far beyond the little stuffed animals that are part of his gift. Thankfully, the Groupon price made it much more budget friendly too!
Make sure you check out your local Groupon offers to see if you can gift someone on your list with an awesome experience this holiday season!
