I wasn’t going to do a house tour post, but then I realized that this will be our last year in this house, and I got all sad & sentimental!!
We’re keeping things really simple this year. Since we just had a holiday open house and will be having house showings through the holiday season, we want to make sure things look really clean and uncluttered.
This is what you see when you come in through our front door:
(and yes, I will be taking the door with us when we go )
We took our chair out of this corner and put the tree there instead. We always get a concolor fir, because I’m semi-allergic to pine. Boo!
This lit garland was from Target, and has been used for years now:
This is looking from our middle room to our family room (love my Lemony Stitch banner):
Love these stockings I snagged at end-of-season clearance last year (more pictures here):
I didn’t decorate our kitchen for Christmas, but it’s still one of my favorite parts of the house, so I had to include it!! In case you’re new here, you have to check out this entire DIY kitchen makeover – it was a true labor of love! You can also look at #ChristinasKitchenRemodel to see our instagram journey of the transformation!
Last year, I shared our imperfect Christmas house tour. It’s still one of my favorite posts, because REAL LIFE happens in this little house. We have a toddler (and another baby on the way) who loves to take everything off of every surface allllll day long:
Speaking of that little guy – I am in love with him. Seriously. This Christmas is SO much fun … Christmas is even more magical with a 16 month old – he loves everything about Christmas!!
Thanks for visiting our home! Merry Christmas!
