There seems to be a trend lately – blogs are shutting down left & right. I totally get it, blogging can be really stressful and consuming! But I want you to know that I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. Blogging started out as something fun to do as a stress reliever from my teaching job, and it’s turned into something I never thought it would! It’s been a great blessing to my family, and it’s something I never imagined myself doing. It has taken on different shapes & sizes as I’ve grown the past few years, and it will continue to do so as we add to our family. But I’m sticking around!
Speaking of this funny phenomenon of blogging as a business – I have been loving my pretty little home office space. It’s really just a corner in our living room, but it’s where I spend the majority of my working hours. If I’m being complete honest, there’s usually a stack or two of papers right here too…but no one wants to see that
And my favorite little addition to this space? That adorable birch iPhone charger. It’s the little things that just make me happy in my small home office
My favorite planner is ALWAYS next to me!
I got it from Uncommon Goods – and I want to give YOU a chance to pick up a little something to make your space a little prettier! If you’ve never been to their site, you seriously need to check it out. They have the most fun & unique items – they’re the perfect place to get something for someone who has everything! If you’re looking for something for upcoming weddings or Valentine’s Day – you have to check out their personalized gifts, gifts for husbands and gifts for wives. Some of my favorites:
Personalized Cuff // I Eight Sum Pi Plates // Birdie Yarn Bowl Knitting Kit
Now it’s YOUR turn to find something fun!
Disclosure: I received free product for this post, but received no monetary compensation. I love this site, and I’m excited to introduce my readers to it!

So many choices….maybe some fun earrings!
Love uncommon goods! they have such unique items. That charger would look great in bedroom 🙂
You have such a cute office, that little birch iphone charger is absolutely adorable. I have no idea why the blog world seems to lose bloggers as quickly as it gains them. There’s a group here to stay though! Love your office.
Ooh, I like their cheese making kit and their Moscow mule mugs!
Those are some pretty nifty toys they have. 🙂 I am torn between quite a few, but I am leaning toward the macaroon kit, or the ‘I’m nuts about you” keychain for my hubby. Thanks!
I love so many things there so it would be hard to choose. I would probably get the Alice in Wonderland literary scarf or the smart phone projector.

Glad to know you aren’t going anywhere! I’ve been at this a LOOOOOONNNG time but a lot of those years it was just a hobby/pastime blog. And I’ve never wanted to completely quit. I want to quit the constant need for growth sometimes but not blogging altogether. I love the interaction with other people and it’s just fun!
I love your iphone charger – I think I need one of those! and that gold cuff bracelet – if I start shopping I might end up with an overloaded shopping cart!
I would choose the mother bird and baby birds necklace, one for each of my children here and in heaven. http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/mother-nestling-birds-necklace
I love the state towels, and a few other kitchen items
The Lab Cocktail Set is too cute!

Oh I really love the Nesting Storage Containers! Those sure would help me get organized this year!
I love this! I wish my office was in the living room…I feel so segregated and disconnected. I could prob get a lot more done and socialize with the fam at the same time!
haha it’s definitely got pros and cons!! I feel a little bombarded with my little guy trying to climb on my lap everytime I start working (and then trying to bang on the keyboard as soon as he gets up – ha!!) 🙂
I would get the smartphone projector
OOh…too many wonderful things to choose from…what a great site…I would love a vase or a cocktail dish…thanks so much. I could not find a place on the site, however where I could leave a comment…Diane

I have been blogging since Feb 2009. I love it but it takes a lot of time. I have not developed a following cause I just can’t work it like I need to. But I enjoy it and I love sharing things I make on my blog or things I update. Your little office looks great. Thanks for sharing.
Do it because you love it, Pam! The most important thing is to build up great quality content, and then to network and make other blogger friends! Have fun with it 🙂
