Amazing images of beautiful copper sink decorating ideas – apron front, hammered farmhouse copper sinks! Are they are design trend or timeless?
Updated to add: We DID end up purchasing a copper sink for our kitchen makeover! READ all about our thoughts on our copper sink here. I’m thrilled with it you can see it in our kitchen here:
While I was planning our new kitchen (in our old house), I thought I was sold on a big, white apron front sink. But then…
Guys. I fell in love. Like, HARD. I’m totally dying over hammered copper apron front sinks!
Am I totally crazy for *needing* this in our new kitchen? We’re working hard to keep the costs down, but the copper sinks I’m looking at are actually cheaper than my original dreamy white farmhouse sink!
What do you think? I seriously need to hear your thoughts – do you think it’s something I’ll regret in 15 years? Or is it a timeless piece?

I think that is an absolutely beautiful sink! If you spend as much time as I do in your kitchen, I think you should make it exactly the way you want. Especially if the cost is less than what you originally want. I say go for it! (found you on Link Party Palooza)

Thanks Denise!! I think we’re going to go for it – and YES I spend a little too much time in the kitchen 😉

I LOVE copper. I had a friend who had a large copper sink similar to the ones in your pics. It would get dirty quickly but he just sprayed it with white vinegar and waited about 5 minutes then it wiped clean. I think it’s beautiful but you have to be able to tolerate the tarnished look or you will go crazy trying to keep it looking like it did when you first bought it.

Thanks for all the copper sink inspiration. I’ve been contemplating a copper farm sink, like your lovely one. However, I’m stumped as to how it will look with stainless appliances. My stainless dishwasher will sit directly next to the sink. I see your appliances are white; do you think you would have done a copper sink with stainless? Thanks for any advice!
