I’ve been in a little bit of a decorating funk lately. Anyone else? I LOVE fall, but I’ve been more excited about making tons of fall food than decorating for fall this year. Weird, I know!! (and then my total decorating fail made me annoyed, but eventually I just had to laugh)
But I finally got around to getting some simple fall touches in my home, and I really love how they look!
I decided to decorate my kitchen this year – something I never did before because our kitchen was so ugly (see the whole DIY remodel here)!
I added some simple fall touches to our open shelving:
The Indian corn & pumpkins really go well with the colors we already had on these shelves & in the rest of the kitchen:
On the other side of my kitchen, I added the simplest and absolutely the cutest fall décor ever:
How cute is this banner? It’s from Lemony Stitch – and she’s got so many adorable banners it’s unreal:
I shared a picture on my Instagram account when I got this happy mail – there isn’t much better of a feeling than getting a sweet package in the mail with something you love!
I also added some fall touches to our dresser in our living room (with our mirror gallery wall over it). I made that piece in the back with a thrifted frame & some pieces of pinecones hot glued to poster board.
In our family room, I added free fall printables to the gallery wall behind our couch. Hello easy fall décor!
And outside, we have our newly refinished back desk decorated for fall:
I received a banner from Lemony Stitch to review, but no monetary compensation. All opinions are always 100% my own, and I LOVE her style & the quality of her work.

I love this!! Little additions to the home to celebrate autumn are totally mandatory in my house. I even switch out all the soaps in the house and my fabric softener to fall-like smells… These tweaks are adorable!

You’re the sweetest!! Thanks so much for commenting. I LOVE switching out all of the soaps/candles for fall scents too – something to nostalgic about those scents!! <3
