I shared our fall house tour earlier, and had so much fun decorating our house for fall. I added a few simple festive touches to our kitchen, and I thought you may want to see them too. (Just a note that some affiliate links are provided for your convenience.)
Our kitchen truly is the heart of our home, and we spend much of our day in here. It’s hard to believe it used to be the worst room in the house!
The banner was a $3 Target find (that dollar spot gets me every time…)
See all about our:
- counter top choice (and why we love them)
- copper sink
- DIY wood ceiling
I kept our DIY shelf ledges pretty simple for fall. I kind of love these plates I got – you’ll never believe where I got them!
I got these pretty striped pillows from hayneedle.com – I love them on our pew on the side of our farmhouse kitchen table. I feel like they’re the perfect touch of farmhouse texture I was looking for over here.
Nora loves them too 🙂
I added some wheat to my mason jar centerpiece (from one of my favorite Etsy shops), and called it a day. I know navy’s not a typical fall color, but I think it really works in our kitchen.
I’ll be honest – this thrifted dresser is usually our “dumping ground” for all of our papers, keys, bags, etc. I’m hoping that by decorating it for fall, it’ll discourage us from using it for junk (so far it’s working!)
If you can’t tell, I’m loving everything buffalo check and wood this year 🙂
