Oh MAN. As someone who has a hard time keeping secrets, this has been a hard one to keep!
We are thrilled to announce that Baby #3 is due in June 2018:
Nora will be 3 in May, and Isaac will turn 5 in June. I had Nora when Isaac was 22 months, so having my youngest be 3 when I have a baby will be a really different (and hopefully good!) experience for us.
We told the kids a few weeks ago and they’ve been surprisingly good about not telling the general public! Isaac is very concerned that I’m getting all of the vitamins I need in my food to grow the baby (so cute). The past week or so he’s been obsessed with kissing my belly and “hugging the baby” – he talks about the baby ALL. THE. TIME. And he told me today, “WOW! That baby really is getting big all the sudden!”
Yes, yes, sweet boy – it is. Man, baby #3 isn’t messing around! It’s getting HARD to hide this bump this time around…I feel like I started showing the moment I found out I was pregnant!
But so far? This pregnancy has been my easiest! I have been tired, run down, and slightly nauseous (food stores have a way of making my face turn a lovely shade of green…ugh all the smelllls). But I’ve been really feeling good so far, and I’m BEYOND thankful for that. It’s been my busiest blog season of my life, and now that I fulfilled my last contracted deadline of 2017, I feel like I can breathe and soak in this pregnancy a little bit more.
PS – I’ve gone through TWO economy sized jars of pickles so far. Nora’s helped a little…but it was mostly me. I’ve also been craving all the carbs and clementines.
Speaking of Nora – I think she’ll have an adjustment as any other kid will, but I think she’ll be a great older sister. She’s allll about snuggling and “mothering” her little stuffed animals lately – it’s adorable!
And for those of you asking – no, we will not be finding out the gender. We were surprised with the other two, and we are excited to be surprised again! Isaac & I are guessing we’re going to have a boy, and Taylor & Nora are guessing we’re going to have a girl. Can’t wait to find out in June!
So – this won’t change much of anything around here. I’ll keep posting our house projects and DIY/decorating ideas…and I’ll still be sharing on Facebook and Instagram. I’ll probably share more personal stories/thoughts on my Instagram stories as the months go on 🙂

I have four children. Mine were 19mos, 17mos and then 21mos apart. I think once you’re accustomed to two, adding more is more of an adjustment for the kids than the parents!! It’ll all be great in the end. Congrats!!!

Congratulations…I loved being pregnant and baby snuggles. I successfully survived raising 5 babies. After the first two it’s great because you have the older siblings who want to help with everything…built in babysitters to an extent? I cherish those memories. Soak it all in and many blessings to you and your sweet family❤️

Congratulations! I found baby #3 the easiest pregnancy and delivery and the most placid baby of all 4 i put it down to the older two keeping him entertained watching them play?❤ Wishing you and your lovely family all the best wishes ❤

I had my 5th, and final baby in March, and she has just fit right into our family! 🙂
3 is a piece of cake! I think 1-2 was the hardest adjustment.
