We’ve been contemplating getting a new mattress for a while now. We bought our previous mattress right before we got married, and it still had some life left in it, but we knew that our days with this mattress were numbered. We had a pillow top, and it was pretty divoted. We’ll be passing it on to my son (I can’t believe we are giving him a queen bed – crazy!) I was planning on going the old-school mattress store route, but I heard about The Dream Bed™, and my interest was piqued. This post is sponsored by them, but I can promise you that all thoughts & opinions are (and always will be) 100% my own! Make sure you read all the way through to see how The Dream Bed helps to unbox a better tomorrow:
Getting this mattress in the mail was so different than the mattress store route. As someone with two little kids, I’m always thankful when I’m able to buy something online. I was a little nervous to try this mattress through the mail, but thankfully they have a 180 day “no nightmare” easy return policy.
And guys – this mattress came in a box. A BOX! It was a super heavy box, but I couldn’t believe that a mattress could actually fit in there. It was super packed and compressed – we laid it out on our bed, removed the packaging, and then let it fully rise for an hour. So cool!
And after an hour, it looked like any other mattress! How fun! But I will tell you, with full honesty, it DOES NOT feel like any other mattress. It’s memory foam, which is new to us, but it’s also cool memory foam. I’ve heard that some people can get hot while sleeping on a memory foam mattress (and my husband is always hot) so this mattress actually keeps you cool throughout the night. Anything that can keep me snuggled in my blankets is awesome:
I can 100% tell you that we love this mattress. The whole experience was awesome from start to finish. BUT there’s even one more piece – The Dream Bed gives mattresses back to families and children in need! They’ve donated over 100 mattresses to people in need because they know that a good night sleep shouldn’t be a luxury. I love their tagline – Dream it Forward!
They asked us what we would dream about – and naturally with two little ones, we dream about sleeping in on a Saturday morning again. Someday…right??
We are sleeping better than ever on our new Dream bed, and we couldn’t be happier with it!

Huge thanks to The Dream Bed™ for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
I can’t wait to hear what you think of it after sleeping on it awhile! We live in an old farmhouse with spiral steps so there is no way we could get a bed any larger than a queen upstairs to our master. This bed would make it possible to get a king ( with a two piece box spring)!!! That would be amazing!!!
It has me excited!
oh that would be awesome, Cara! I’ll let you know! I’ve never slept on memory foam before, so it’s a totally different feel! But it’s really really comfortable. I also love that they have a 180 day easy return policy – so you could get one and return if you don’t love it!
Interesting. We are thinking about a getaway to a B&B in Lancaster. They have one of these beds in one of the rooms. If you stay in that room, and decide to get a bed afterwards, you get a discount! 🙂
Which one did you get, and did you have to get anything besides the mattress?
Ha! How fun, Yvonne! You’ll have to let me know how it goes sleeping on the mattress – we’re really liking it!! We got the cool dream bed, and we used our split box spring that we had used under our last mattress under this mattress.
