We’ve survived another week! Baby Hibbs is measuring right on target – and now weighs over 4 lbs!
The lovely ladies from my church’s young adult group threw me and my friend Tricia a small baby shower last Saturday – it was sooo sweet!! Baby Hibbs is so loved & blessed already, and we’re so thankful for a supportive church family (with LOTS of little babies on the way!!)
The baby shower happened to be 10 minutes from the outlets…so of course I HAD to stop in to the Restoration Hardware outlet – and came out with 2 big things for the baby’s room!! We got bumpers (uusally $150…got them for $37!!) Now before you have a fit…I KNOW bumpers are the new “banned item”. I figured we could use them until the baby is moving around and then we’ll take them off. For the price I could justify it. Also – I know it’s light blue. But I LOVE decorating with blue, and I know I can make blue work for a boy OR a girl!!
I also got this sweeeet little chair at the RH outlet – and I’m in love with it! I got it for $38…and I know it will be used for mannny years to come!
Can’t wait to really start working on the nursery in the coming weeks!
Unfortunately – it’s starting to heat up a LOT in PA. My poor piggies don’t even stand a chance – this picture was taken before 10 AM – and they’re so much worse by the end of a long hot day! It’s going to be a loooong summer!
I didn’t think we were going to take maternity pictures (mainly because I ran out of time during the “cute phase” of being preggo, and now just feel huge haha). BUT we went to celebrate my husband’s grandma’s 91st birthday, and my photographer brother in law took a few impromptu pics of us. I like this one!!
How far along? 31 weeks
Maternity clothes? absolutely! Still on the hunt for maternity shorts…that aren’t vomit inducing 
Sleep: This week sleep has been rough. Boo
Best moment of the week: Beginning to prep the nursery – and going to the routine check-up…the dr. says everything continues to look perfect & I just need to “keep growing that baby”! Oh, and the baby kicked the heart monitor off – ha! Little feisty one we’ve got in there!
Miss anything? I have been craving orange juice a lot- and that does NOT go well with my blood sugar monitoring 
Movement: Yes! Baby is moving SO MUCH and getting SO STRONG!
Food cravings: Orange Juice – only can have a few sips a day and it’s hard to stop there!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Gender prediction: I have NO idea! Honestly, I’m split down the middle & could go either way at any time!
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Rib pain was pretty bad at the beginning of this week (not just my injured rib – but now on the other side in the front of my ribcage – totally from the baby!) And that swelling…
Belly button in or out? In – but it’s very shallow!!
Happy or moody most of the time? This week has been mostly happy
Looking forward to: Scheduling another ultrasound with the perinatal center (standard for anyone with gestational diabetes). I heard a rumor this might be a 3D ultrasound – so that’s really exciting!!
you are so cute! I love the shots of you and your hubby. Just a few more weeks and you can hold that baby in your arms instead of in your tummy! woo-hoo!
