My husband and I are *beyond* excited to announce some BIG news –
We are expecting our first child on August 2nd, 2013!!
We couldn’t be happier, and are just praising God for this little miracle that He has blessed us with.
It was so amazing to hear that heartbeat on the ultrasound the other week, and even more amazing was seeing the baby moving all around!! It looked like it was dancing! This was an “action shot” – the baby was moving it’s little arms and legs all over!
I’ll be posting weekly updates here, but I can tell you that the past 2 months have been pretty rough.
I’ve spent most of my time either on the couch, in bed, or over the toilet. It’s finally settling into just nausea, not throwing up anymore. TMI? Sorry
And due to me having the shortest torso ever, I’m already beginning to pop out!
I feel like I’ve been in HIDING for the past 2 months! Between not feeling well, and not wanting to spill the “secret” until the ultrasound, it’s so weird to finally be able to talk about this incredible blessing!!
You know you’ll be hearing much more about the baby and how we’re getting ready for this new season of our lives
Congratulations! God bless your new little family! 🙂
I am so, SO happy for you both. Congratulations. You look wonderful!

Oh that is so so exciting! Congratulations! I can’t wait to read more about your little blessing! 🙂
Congrats! I’m due with my 3rd on August 31st!
Congratulations! Here’s something you can try for the nausea…get a piece of ginger root from the grocery store, cut off a 4-5 inch piece, peel the bark off of it, slice it into a couple of pieces, and boil it in about 1 1/2 or 2 cups water for about 10 minutes, covered. Now you have made ginger tea. I can’t drink it straight, but if you mix some of it with a small glass of regular tea or something else you like, it really helps with the nausea. Just sip it slowly and see if it helps. It’s worked wonders for me and I hope it will help you.
Congratulations Christina! I hope you start to feel better soon! Your baby belly is already adorable! 🙂
Ahhhhh! That’s so exciting! Congrats to the both of you!

Oh YAY Christina! THat is just so exciting! And I can totally feel your pain on the throwing up 🙁 I felt wretched when I was pregnant. The throwing up ended about 14 to 16 weeks in but I never did feel good – I’m hoping the nausea goes away completely for you.
Aww congrats Christina! How exciting! Hope you have a wonderful pregnancy journey and that things start to get better (even the nausea) soon! I’m due with #3 at the end of May and am still sick 🙁 but it’s so worth it!! Congrats again!
