I’ll be honest – I spent about 15 minutes on our Christmas front porch this year.
We were working so hard on getting the inside ready for our Christmas house tour (see the pictures here)
But I kept things SUPER simple on our front porch!
And you know what? It looks OK! It’s not incredible, but it’s pretty, welcoming, and was easy.

That sled was a $2 find at a yard sale – and the tree was $3! I put it in a vintage bucket and called it a day. I added old dollar store ornaments to one of our lanterns (see all of my best sources for farmhouse lanterns here).
I got a wreath from a local source this year – I got to pick it up from a lady and her toddler from her home after she made it from greens on their farm. Doesn’t get any better than that!
Also – hallelujah for a new mailbox!! <– it’s on a great sale right now!
So hey, as a reminder…it doesn’t have to be complicated!
We did spend a little time putting some greenery up – this picture is blurry (boo!) but you get the idea. For a house that has ONE exterior outlet – not even close to the front of our house – we are saved by solar lights! These are my favorites – we really love them!
Make sure you stop by my friend’s websites for their farmhouse Christmas tours – they’re incredible!

What is the color of your door please? It looks like a gun metal color. Very pretty.
Thanx

It’s “Wrought Iron” by Benjamin Moore – you can see more about that color here 🙂 https://christinamariablog.com/modern-farmhouse-paint-colors/
