These cozy Christmas ideas will help get your home holiday ready. Inspired by cottage interiors, these ideas will inspire your own beautiful Christmas in your home!
It’s officially “it’s so cold outside and I’m staying inside as much as I can” season 😆 Can you believe our heater is currently broken right now?? So while we did go out hiking as a family this past weekend in the 32 degree weather, we also are enjoying the warmth from our wood stove and space heaters right now. No wonder I’m searching for allll the cozy Christmas inspiration right now!
While I was inspired to decorate my own home, I thought I’d share the cozy Christmas ideas with you too as you decorate your home this season. Enjoy, and happy decorating!
Cozy Christmas Decor 1: all the layers! Garland Layering Ideas
Don’t get stuck with just using one strand of garland. To add that cozy feel, layering garland is the way to go.
Here’s a few examples of how to do this tastefully and well:

Cozy Christmas Decor 3: Candles Candles and more Candles
Candles automatically bring the coziness factor! Here’s some of my favorite cozy candle shots:

If you’re looking for cozy candles without flames, these tapers are GREAT. I have them and love that you can put them on a timer to go on every night. These come in a pack of 6 and fit in taper holders.
And if you haven’t heard by now, I have my own line of all natural beeswax candles in my shop. They’ve been a hit, and I love sending out these candles to your homes! They’re made with beeswax, coconut oil, hemp wicks, and clean fragrance. Nothing else!

Cozy Christmas Decor 4: Don’t skip the windows
One of my FAVORITE things is when I’m outside my house, and peek in through my windows. With the cozy Christmas lights, warmth of the fire, and my sweet family inside – it helps give a fresh perspective at all we’re blessed with.
So I’m inspired by windows this cozy Christmas season! It’s a space in our home that’s easy to overlook, but looks so cute when you make them decorative as well.
How sweet is this idea to use window paint to make little Christmas scenes? I love it! Via Tumblr
