Sharing all of my favorite Christmas decor inspiration pictures today to help you get in the mood for decking your own house out for Christmas!
Exterior Christmas decorating inspiration:
We are keeping things a little simpler outside our home this year, but I am so inspired by these images, I might just add some extra festive touches to ours too!

You don’t have to have a front porch with rocking chairs to be festive and welcoming – how pretty (and simple) are these luminaries lining the path to this house?

I love the way this house hung their wreaths – and the fact that they’re really simple and classic. Also – check out those mason jar decorations on the table!

Neutral Christmas decorating inspiration:
I just love this cozy living room from Twelve on Main. What makes it warm (while using whites and greens to decorate) is the touches of leather and rustic wood. The combination is just perfect! See more of her living room here.
Andrea from Pine and Prospect Home did such a beautiful job with her neutral dining room decor. The natural wood tones + twinkle lights and greenery is just beautiful! See more of her dining room here.
Proving that simple can sometimes be best:
This little display here from Wild Flower Home Blog is just stunning! Lots of textures and classic pieces are working together in this spot – but the addition of the garland around the picture frame takes it over the top! See more on her Instagram here.
This dough bowl + greenery + candles is really dreamy and the perfect understated Christmas centerpiece! See more of this French Farmhouse inspired decor from Maison de Cinq here.
And who remembers our last house’s kitchen? I loved this little (old) window + the copper sink in front of it. We just needed some simple greenery + twinkle lights to finish it off for Christmas! Sadly…this was the last time we had real greenery in our house because it was this strand that made us realize just how allergic I was to real greenery! Come see more of our casual Christmas tour in our last house here.
Add some oranges:
This nostalgic Christmas tradition has become super popular again, and I am loving it! We put some around our homeschool chalkboard (as seen here … you can see our whole homeschool area here)
I really love it wrapped around a kitchen window garland, just like this one from The Blushing Bungalow
I just love the look of this combinations – greenery, brass bells, white pom poms and dried oranges. See the whole beautiful setup at House of Jade Interiors.
I hope that gives you some good Christmas decor inspiration so you can get inspired to decorate your own home this year!
