Cozy Coastal : Beach Condo Decorating

An update on my parents beach condo decorating project – it came a long way in just one weekend! Come be inspired by some budget friendly decorating ideas in this post as well.

OK my parents closed on this property on Friday…and come see how much it already transformed by Saturday evening!

And this is how I left it on Saturday at dinnertime!

 

OK so CLEARLY it still needs plenty – like a couch 😅 we are cutting the rug pad, etc. But if you squint…you can imagine it finished right?

Funny story about the couch…my parents had a lot planned out before closing on the property so they could get into it this weekend and work to get it made over quickly. The couch delivery was one of them – and we were so glad we could find a couch for this space that could be delivered when we needed it!

But then they got here and we we realized the couch couldn’t fit into the condo. At all. It was just too big! So … we quick had to pivot and find another sofa that would fit AND would get here before rentals began…we are so glad we found one that could be delivered quickly! So a couch IS coming, but we were worried it wouldn’t!

This corner is a favorite (possibly because it’s the only seating in the room currently haha)…but I just think it’s so pretty!

 

Let’s take a moment to celebrate these little pockets of beauty in the room…since the wall was still bright yellow behind me when I took this picture! 😅

 

Whew, this was a whirlwind makeover…and it turned out pretty great! It took lots of planning ahead of time, and my parents put in a lot of work before and after I got there. It’s really coming together!
