This easy recipe combines lots of fresh herbs with Greek yogurt to make a creamy Greek salad dressing that is absolutely delicious!
I’ve been sharing a series on my Instagram and TikTok about how to make kitchen staples by scratch, and today’s is salad dressing! It is SO EASY and cost effective to make your own salad dressing, and it’s usually healthier too.

Easy healthy creamy Greek salad dressing
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup fresh packed herbs dill, mint, parsley, basil
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 1 TBSP lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic (use less if you don't love a little bite!)
- salt + pepper to taste
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients together
- Pour over your salad + enjoy!
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week
I have shared before that I cannot have traditional dairy without having issues, so I make my own Greek yogurt, and I use that yogurt for this dressing!
How to serve this to a family:
Our kids are still young and don’t always love a big mixed salad (some of our kids like their food separated). So this is the way we typically do a loaded salad dinner.
My husband and I put spring mix on our plates first, and then our kids all love having just the salad ingredients on their plates (minus the spring mix). They all really like this meal! Tonight we added:
- creamy Greek salad dressing
- Chick peas
- cucumbers
- tomatoes
- avocados
- olives
- grilled chicken
- feta
- pickled onions
So delicious, fresh tasting, and full of flavor! This creamy Greek dressing really makes it all come together!
