I was so excited to decorate my mom’s mantel this year, since I don’t have one of my own! Remember how we made over her living room a few months ago? I was excited to dress up her newly white mantel for fall – and I’m loving how it turned out!
That wreath in the middle is really the show-stopper here, and it was a beast and a half to make. BUT I’m loving the end product, and I’m loving that it can be used over and over again over many different seasons.
I re-used the fall letter frames from last year’s mantel:
The pinecone garland was bought at a yard sale for $1 a few years ago:
The copper pot was a planter for some bulbs a few years ago:
All of the corn husks were bought from a local farm:
What do you think of my fall mantel this year? Leave a link to your fall mantels – I’d love to see them!

Hi Christina: This is a gorgeous mantel. You are right–the book-page wreath is definitely a show-stopper–I love it! The fall letter frames are a pretty pretty idea as well.
Awe, wish I had a mantel to decorate! Love it Christina! 🙂
So very pretty! I love how the bookpages in the wreath and the fall sign tie everything together. Lovely!
Love it, Christina! Your mom’s pretty lucky to have you around to decorate for her 🙂
That wreath is just lovely! Makes me want to go pull out my glue gun and make one for myself. I have a very small hymnal that we used at the church I attended growing up – it would make a really small version of that – I just might do it!
Gorgeous, chic and crisp!!
love it!
Oh, I love it! Your wreath is beautiful. You did a fantastic job. 🙂
Wow, that is one gorgeous wreath and I love the pinecone garland and FALL letters. I wish I had a mantel to decorate! Maybe I should go decorate my mom’s too! 😉
Great job! The wreath is wonderful!
Beautiful mantle! Beautiful wreath!
Oh how beautiful!!! You did a great job on your wreath!!!! It looks so elegant! Nicely done!
Awesome! It would also be cool to spray paint the wreath lightly in a tea color or with that spray mist stuff…
I love it Christina! You’re right, that wreath is stunning! I love how you used the book pages in the frames too. Ties it all together nicely. 🙂
What a beautiful mantel! I really like the framed FALL letters!
Beautiful! I love the wreath!
Very pretty, clean and simple fall mantle! I’m still working on perfecting mine…so no post yet! Great job!

This is such a great idea. I also dried some hydrangeas a couple of weeks ago, and would love to do a frame like this.
Would be great for Christmas too. Thanks for sharing.
how did you make the wreath?

Loved your fall mantle — nice approach with the book page wreath which looks to be worth the effort.
Have a great fall!
Your mantel decor is just beautiful. Do you happen to have step-by-step instructions for the wreath? My daughter would just love that!! I would like to try to make one for her.
Thank you, Christina! I do! Here’s the link for that tutorial 🙂 christina-maria.com/2014/02/rolled-book-page-wreath.html
