I was so excited to decorate my mom’s mantel this year, since I don’t have one of my own! Remember how we made over her living room a few months ago? I was excited to dress up her newly white mantel for fall – and I’m loving how it turned out!
That wreath in the middle is really the show-stopper here, and it was a beast and a half to make. BUT I’m loving the end product, and I’m loving that it can be used over and over again over many different seasons.
I re-used the fall letter frames from last year’s mantel:
The pinecone garland was bought at a yard sale for $1 a few years ago:
The copper pot was a planter for some bulbs a few years ago:
All of the corn husks were bought from a local farm:
What do you think of my fall mantel this year? Leave a link to your fall mantels – I’d love to see them!

Hi Christina: This is a gorgeous mantel. You are right–the book-page wreath is definitely a show-stopper–I love it! The fall letter frames are a pretty pretty idea as well.

That wreath is just lovely! Makes me want to go pull out my glue gun and make one for myself. I have a very small hymnal that we used at the church I attended growing up – it would make a really small version of that – I just might do it!

Awesome! It would also be cool to spray paint the wreath lightly in a tea color or with that spray mist stuff…

This is such a great idea. I also dried some hydrangeas a couple of weeks ago, and would love to do a frame like this.
Would be great for Christmas too. Thanks for sharing.

Your mantel decor is just beautiful. Do you happen to have step-by-step instructions for the wreath? My daughter would just love that!! I would like to try to make one for her.
