There are lots of great Memorial Day sales going on this weekend! Here’s my favorite budget friendly picks for the weekend:
This light is beautiful and selling out fast! It’s a classic design piece and would work so well in many homes. Shop it here.
This bench is so cute! I love the distressing and the price is SO good – this weekend only! Shop it here
We have this little table and it’s the perfect accent piece. We’ve used it all over the house as an extra surface – it’s currently my son’s “nightstand” – it’s a great price this weekend! Shop it here.
Our copper mailbox is on sale! This rarely happens – we really love ours. I will be honest and say I think that by reading the reviews, it will only work on a covered porch, because the copper doesn’t weather well if it’s exposed. But it’s worked really well on our porch! Shop it here.
If you’re looking for an adorable summer sign that’s perfect for a small budget – this is the one! Shop it here.
Last one – here’s a GREAT deal on a set of two pillows – seriously the best price I’ve seen in a long time! Shop them here.

I’m allll about neutrals, textures, and touches of greenery lately. This bedroom is just speaking my home decor love language!
Another space speaking my decor love language right now? Liz Marie’s home! She nails it every time, and I just love her early summer home tour:
So many people ask me where we buy our area rugs for an affordable price, and I wrote a whole post about my *secret* place that I’ve been buying area rugs for years! Come read the whole post here.
I get SO many questions about different element in our kitchen, I finally sat down and wrote an update on the room three years after our big DIY renovation. This post includes every detail and element of this farmhouse kitchen makeover – I’ve already got so many people who have told me that it’s been a really helpful post! Read the whole post here.
Man – we’re in the home stretch before baby #3! 3 weeks and counting – it’s been a little rough lately. I have appointments 35 minutes away three times a week, and the kids aren’t supposed to come…so that means lots of transporting them back & forth to my mom’s house and it all becomes a 3-4 hour ordeal…3 times a week. It’s a lot. My gestational diabetes is being managed well, so that’s good! Every test is coming back “normal” which is the best word you can hear at this point. I just need to get through these next 3 weeks of craziness before we enter into a totally different kind of crazy!
I think the kids are starting to feel the strain too. They just finished preschool and we’re working on being really intentional about spending 1:1 time with them and making them feel really special. Isaac’s been more on edge lately, and I’m sure it’s because he knows there’s a big change coming. Nora’s been sleeping terribly, and up at all hours of the night, which is exhausting and frustrating. It puts us all in a bad mood! So my goal for the next few weeks is to slow down, realize I can only do so much before the baby comes, and give the kids some intentional time with just me and Taylor.
Also big news? Nora turned 3 (which is totally crazy!) and we joined the minivan club!! Which basically means that this baby can come since we now have a vehicle that we can all drive in – hooray!
