It’s hard to believe we’ve been in our house for over a year now! BUT we’ve already done so much to the house, oh, and we had our first baby last summer too, so there’s that…ha!
I was so excited to spruce up our back porch area last summer, but it just didn’t happen with having our little guy in July. This year, it’s already July and I’m feeling like summer will be over before we know it!! My goal is to get this space beautified so we can still enjoy it this summer.
I’m not here with pretty pictures today – just the dreaded “before” shots! Like I did with my kitchen remodel, I’ll share progress along the way!
We really want to do this makeover without spending a lot of money. My goal is thrifty, functional, and pretty (but isn’t it always??)

I FINALLY saw your house while I was driving by with my hubby the last week, I know what street it is on but so many of those brick house look the same haha. I recognized your white rockers and colorful accessories on your porch from other posts. Then I saw your hubby out back on your deck! I was like, I KNOW THEM! 🙂
