If you caught my fall home tour the other week, you may notice that the name of the game is simple this year.
With two little kids and a new preschool schedule that’s kicking my butt, I’m keeping it seriously simple this time of year.
That has carried over to my crafting, or, um, lack of crafting.
I made this little project in less than 15 minutes and for about $15. It’s SO SIMPLE, and it’s a fun unique little decoration that complements our farmhouse decor this fall.
It feels silly even writing up a “tutorial”, because it’s so simple, and I bet you can figure it out by looking at the pictures!
Here’s what you’re going to need:
- White faux pumpkin
- I got mine at Michaels
- Magnolia leaves
- I also got these at Michaels, but you can find them here
- Hot glue gun
- Sharpie paint pen
I pulled some of the plastic coating off of the magnolia stems, and I literally just shoved them into the bottom of the pumpkin. Then, I fastened them down with hot glue to make it be a little more secure.
I wrote “autumn” on the pumpkin (you can too – use this template for free here)
I used this method to transfer the words onto the pumpkin – all you’ll need is a pencil and a pen!
And that’s it! Super simple, super cute, and super budget friendly:
This will be our project for October’s “Crafting for a Cause” – if you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out our event on Facebook here!
