Early Christmas Decorating

New flocked Christmas tree

I have wanted a tree in this corner for a while, and I just LOVE this flocked tree I got this year!

Gorgeous in it’s simplicity, I am choosing not to put any ornaments on it. At least, not yet. We have 2 other trees (I know I know) so those are the ones that we’ll put ornaments on. But this one will probably remain “snowy” and without much decorations.

It’s the only large flocked tree we have (it’s 6.5′ tall) and it’s the perfect style to put against our green walls.

Decorating around the piano:

If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you might not know that we got a (secondhand) piano a few weeks ago!

I grew up playing the piano (for 10 years!) so this is really exciting as we get music into our home. I’m even trying to brush up on my skills – it’s humbling haha.

But it was fun to have a new space to decorate this Christmas!

Early Christmas mantel decor:

We usually hang heavy garland and stockings here, and I still will! But we’re not quite ready for THAT level of Christmas decor yet. It’s like “Christmas decor lite”.

This one features some artwork by a local artist.
