Cozy textures, deep neutrals, and meaningful touches all go into our home tour. Come on in and see how we’re decorating for the season, and get inspired to create your own cozy home. Affiliate links included – full disclosure here.
Let’s start this by saying: I wish I could invite you over personally. We’d have a latte in our hands in my favorite mugs, there would be dog hair on the couch, and my kids would be trying to get your attention while we talked.
Sadly, I can’t actually have you physically in my home. So a virtual tour will have to make do! But I hope you feel at “home” even if it’s through the screen.
PS – this week marks 2 years since we’ve been in our home – can you believe it?? It’s already come such a long way!
Cozy fireplace decorated for fall:
One of my favorite spots in our house just happens to be right next to our homeschool area. I just love how cozy this space can get for the colder months too. I can’t wait until we can make our first fire in this fireplace!
We limewashed the brick two years ago now, and it has held up so well! This whole makeover really had such a big impact in this space, and I love it so much to this day.

Simple fall decor in our hallway:
A makeover we did in the beginning of quarantine 1.5 years ago now…and another project that made such a big impact in our home! I love this hallway makeover, and the addition of this little spot to decorate in such a highly visible space was a really good idea.

Cozy fall family room:
We have big plans for this room! We’re currently saving money to be able to use in this room. I can’t wait to share it with you! As for now, we’re decorating with the spaces that we have made over so far. Like this vertical shiplap wall. I still love these picture frame ledges so much – we put them in our last home and they’re one of my favorite easy DIY projects.

Banquette decorated for fall:
This space is truly at the center of our home, and it’s used so heavily! It makes me so happy to have it all cozy for fall too. The addition of that shelf on top of our DIY banquette was a really important addition too!

I hope that you enjoyed this virtual tour – it’s better than nothing, but I’d love to have you over to sit for a cup of coffee or tea sometime too! I hope that you have the most wonderful fall season with your family and friends.
