Read for a bathroom renovation planner that contains a printable guide to help manage your budget, contractors, projects, and timeline of your remodel.
Well guys – it’s been a really busy week over here! We’ve had men walking through our house allll dayyy longgg everrryyy dayyy. This means – lots of dirt, lots of noise, and lots of checks being written. Even though we’ve been saving for two years for this renovation, it’s still so painful to write those checks!
see our bathroom renovation plan & “before” pictures here
*I’ve had a few moments of major stress over the past few weeks, so I made my own bathroom renovation planning sheet – I’ve linked it at the bottom of the post if you’d like to print out your own*
BUT it also means that so much got done! Here’s what got done this week:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Framing
- Drywall
It looked better – and then it looked worse when we had the plumbing done:
But now that the drywall is up and the plywood is down, it’s looking so much better!!
Now that the drywall & plywood floor is down, we can start doing our DIY work!
Here’s what we’re planning on doing this week:
- lay our flooring
- plan out shower design/tiles
- shiplap the walls
- trim out the windows
I made my own bathroom planner – and I realized it could be helpful for some of you! I made two versions – one is for a FULL bathroom renovation like ours, and another is for a smaller bathroom remodel.

This makeover is being done as part of the One Room Challenge as a guest participant. I’ll be making over this room in six weeks, and I’ll be sharing progress and updates on the room every Wednesday. You’ll essentially go through the whole renovation with me! And there’s lots of other bloggers participating too, so you can be inspired by their makeovers as well.
Love your progress! I just know it’s going to be an amzaing space! Looking forward to next week’s post already! Susie from The Chelsea Project
